As if we didn’t witness Nicki murder Kim before on Kanye West’s Monster track OR the epic failure of Kim releasing “Black Friday” to diss Nicki’s debut album “Pink Friday”….
Roman [Nicki’s alter ego of course] has stuck again! Nicki Minaj releases new single titled “Stupid Hoe” from her upcoming sophomore album “Pink Friday: Roman Reloaded”
Check below for explicit lyrics for this track, I know it may be hard to decipher from Roman’s animated voice Read the rest of this entry
Never in a MILLION years would I have put this two in a feud of any kind! Guess I don;t know much. A couple of weeks ago I posted an article on Common’s explanation to his single “Sweet” in which everyone thought that it was addressing Drake in a subliminal way, so Common spoke out on it and exactly what he meant by these lyrics: “Y’all niggas man, y’all soft motherfuckers / Singing all around me man, la la la / You ain’t motherfucking Frank Sinatra / Uh, lil’ bitch / Sweet ass motherfucker.”
“Some people have been saying that, but on that song, I’m just talking about whoever the cap fits. I’m talking about rappers out there that’s soft and doing the same thing. So if the cap fits, then that’s who it is,” he said “That’s all it is. It’s whoever the cap fits, then let ‘em wear it. I think it’s a lot of creative artists out there. I think Drake makes some good music.”
In response to this single, Drizzy chose to speak out and throw shots back at Common:
Recently Common heard about Drake’s response and took it to Shade 45 for a radio interview where he added fuel to this “MC battle”. [I must say it is good publicity being as though his album “The Dreamer, The Believer” released in stores today *shrugs].
Found a rather interesting post today when surfing the web…Rapper, Common, stated during an interview that if he could choose 2 rappers to be in a rap battle today it would be Lil Wayne Vs. Kanye!
I think not at a real war, but just on an MC level battle, I think two emcees who would really be a good battle would be Kanye and Lil Wayne,” he said. “They both got them lines that you be like, ‘Dang, that line was cold. Some real lines!’ They both got style, too. I think it’d be a good battle.
I found this very interesting coming from Common…my question to you is:
Who you got winning a rap battle between Wayne &| ‘Ye? And WHY?
