[] Lights Please || A J. Cole Classic

NC Native, J. Cole, finished his last video segment with Muve Music where he touched basis on a couple of his tracks and their foundation.

“Lights Please” is a track that Cole world refers to as a classic. Off his mixtape, The Warm Up, Cole stated that this track would be on his debut album, before he was signed or even knew when his album would ever release. In a concert he performed in 2009, he joked about his album dropping in 2012, not knowing that he would be just months shy of actually dropping his album in 2012 [ironic huh?]. “Lights Please” was also the tack that officially “put him on.” It got him an interview with Mark Pitts, who played it for Jay-Z, who then wanted to meet him. From that, Jermaine Cole is now a part of RocNation!
